I'm super excited to share that the teeny x cauli collab merch is live!!
Izumi teeny, idol horse girl vtuber is the multi-talented member of VIVARIA Virtual, an indie vtubing group! The group recently celebrated their 1 year anniversary since inception and have had a very eventful year! From making various appearances at IRL events and conventions across North America to providing a fun time for folks, their dedication to entertain really shine through! I personally enjoyed their projects like VIVARIASMP or the Hearts in Harmony Karaoke Relay!
Last year, teeny had kindly reached out with an idea to collaborate to make merch together and pitched the idea of doing something for the new years to celebrate the year of the horse!
Here is a little look at the behind the scenes of how the illustration came to be!
The initial sketch I provided for teeny included two poses featuring teeny in pajamas with a bunch of horse plushies!! We ended up choosing the left option and continued to clarify the direction of the illustration.
Above is the final sketch that we landed on before moving onto starting the clean draft!
I am quite fond of teeny's model design with her punk style hair and charming flowery odd-eye. Getting to draw her has been such a treat for me and just very very enjoyable!!
Her horse plushie is MINI CORNDOG: A mascot character designed by macgenvessel! So so cute... <3

When the art was at a place that both teeny and I were satisfied with, I sent it off to teeny who then worked her magic and made the postcard design, button badge design, and the main promotional graphic!
She's quite honestly an amazing person to work with and this has been a very cool collab experience for me!
